She died on Thursday April 29, 1852 at Kingdom of Bavaria at age 20 at 8:00 a. m. of Typhoid fever. Her obituary stated "In the Year of Our Lord 1852 April 29, at 8 o'clock A. M. passed away to her Redeemer with all Holy Sacraments administered to her mortal soul, the highly respectable Mrs. Maria Antonia Johanna Barb. Josepha Schamberger nee Rudolph wife of our Honorable Mayor A. Schamberger" on April 29, 1852 at Würzburg, Kingdom of Bavaria. She left Franz Berg as her widower on April 29, 1852. She was buried on May 1, 1852 at Bavaria, Germany. Her funeral service was held on May 4, 1852 at Würzburg, Uberfranken, Kingdom of Bavaria, services were held at 9 a. m.
