Michael Head was also known as Heade. He was born between 1833 and 1834 at County Tipperary, Ireland. He immigrated along with Martin, John and Bridget Head circa 1850 to Ohio from Ireland through Canada.

Michael Head married Margaret Healy, daughter of (--?--) Healy, circa 1856. He was a laborer from 1860 to 1880 at St. Louis, Missouri.

From the City of St. Louis Death Registry: married white male, 60 years old, born in Ireland, laborer, burial at Calvary Cemetery, Dr. Otto Sutter. Cause of death was senility. Place of death was 2832 North Twenty-First Street in St. Louis. He was buried on May 23, 1899 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri, in section 11, lot A, grave 122, depth R2. Funeral director was Cullinane Brother's Funeral Home.
